Till this day is done

Down by the green  glades

Through which the river runs?

Where the grass is soft

And the birds sit singing

On the branches aloft?

If at all I stray

Can I depend on you

To show me the way?

When darkness falls

And the shadows scare me

With eerie footfalls?

On the forest floor
