26 Mar

Tears welling up, arrested perforce

Trespassing sighs, cordoned off,

Gates pushed open, with violence I close

Cruel oppression; and I laugh!.

Memories will practice sabotage,

Overthrow the dictatorial reign.

Sometimes, they will take the stage

Speak of the past, relive the pain.

Sometimes in the darkness of the night

Surveillance careless and the guards asleep,

The prisoners cautiously take their flight

Into my pillow, silently I weep.
